Saturday's KFL Summaries



HELLERVILL ZAPPERS 48, NEW YANKEY AIRPLANES

After playing to a 17-17 halftime tie, the Zappers scored 28 points in the third quarter, including an interception and fumble return by Rey Malladay on in the same minute. Malladay returned a pick 22 yards for a touchdown and then on the ensuing kickoff forced and returned a fumble three yards for a score. Billy Stevens also threw 3 touchdown passes, two of which were to Yuion Horington. For the Airplanes Harry Abrams threw 2 touchdown strikes.



HELLERVILL TIGERS 43, CLEVETROIT SILVERS 0



Barkley Heller caught 3 touchdowns and picked off another for a touchdown as the Tigers destroyed the Silvers 43-0. After a sloppy first half, the Tigers caught fire scoring 37 second half points. Barkley Heller had 4 catches for 205 yards and Jared Heller Jr. threw for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns. Mike Swinhart also sacked quarterback Scott Sanderson for a safety in the fourth quarter.



JOSHVILLE MANIAX 28, NEW YANKEY PUMAS 7

Mighty Wolf caught 5 passes for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns from Josh Simmons leading the Maniax. Boobie Latone also ran in a touchdown for the Pumas



KOSAR CITY RED HAWKS 44, MINNYVILLE PURPLES 3

Rabo Guest ran for 162 yards and ran for three touchdowns as the Red Hawks destoryed the Purples 44-3. Miguel Morten also caught two touchdown passes from Jason Carroll in the massacre.



TOPEBURG PIRATES 42, RAIDER CITY BLACKS 14

The Pirates offense came from all over in a demolishen of Raider City 42-14. Gary Smith ran for 109 yards and a touchdown, Santana Brown caught 3 passes for 109 yards and scored two touchdowns, Massillon Woods caught a touchdown, and Josh Tope also ran for two touchdowns. For the Blacks Howie Porter ran for 145 yards and a score.

Friday's KFL Game Summaries



RED BAY SMASHERS 24, WARSH NATIVES 23

Despite trailing 16-0 in the first quarter, a rally and a drive led to a 33-yard Jeffrey Connell field goal with 1:10 left in the game that put the Smashers ahead for good. Mike Donj passed for two touchdowns for the Smashers to David Gillingham and Gary Marble. Marble also ran in a touchdown. For the Natives Bart Moon threw three long touchdowns of 72, 46, and 46 yards to Willie Cusick, Benjamin Baize, and Earnest Johnson respectively.



ST. MCFORD PANTHERS 28, BROWNVILL BONICS 3

Mikal Ford threw for a touchdown pass and also ran for one leading the Panthers over the Bonics 28-3. Brett McGee and Samuel Bales also each scored a touchdown on the ground, and tight end Vicente McGuire caught the only touchdown threw the air. The only highlight of the night for the Bonics was Neal Del's 69-yard field goal that was "just for kicks" in the fourth quarter.



PHILLIE BIRDS 20, MANGEY SONICS 0

Quarterback Rich Sheltoin ran for 121 yards and two first half touchdowns and the defense did the rest as the Birds blanked the Sonics 20-0.



HELLERVILL BLACK SOX 29, PETERSBURG SQUIRRELS 14

The Black Sox jumped out to a 26-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 29-14 victory. They scored on two field goals by Vivee Blackson, a sack and safety by Gary Bailey, a 5-yard fumble return by runningback Peter Legget, and two touchdown connections from Jim Walshing to Johnny Youngsting. For the Squirrels John Depatrick hooked up with Terrence Wesley and Landon Suiox for scores.



TWISTENED ISLAND CITY OWLS 21, INDIAN CITY HUNTERS 10

Tim Myles ran for a touchdown and also threw to Jermelle Barber for a score to lead the Owls past the Hunters. Hector Hamilton also ran for an Owls score and J.J. Schroeder ran for the only Hunters touchdown.

Thursday Game Summaries



DELLES STARS 23, HUII ISLAND HORSES 16

The Stars jumped out to a 17-0 first quarter lead and held the Horses 4 yards short of potentially tying the game with 0:00. Norman Bertrand caught a 56-yard touchdown pass from Domonique Pugh and Smittin Timmie scored a touchdown set up by a turnover helping the Stars jump out to a 14-point lead. Kicker Wan Wizinzi added 3 field goals after. It was 23-7 heading into the fourth quarter. Horses quarterback John Gutersitinyuing hooked up with Phil Morant earlier for a touchdown then in the fourth hit Lenardo Bacis for a 25-yard touchdown to make the score 23-14. After recording a safety, the Horses got the ball back with a chance to score. About 35 yards away from the endzone with 0:04 left, Gutersitinyuing found Bacis open, Bacis ran it all the way to the four yard line before he was brought down by Dante Riggs. The Stars survived.






HELLERVILL GOLDS 35, COREYVILLE CAVS 7

Cincinnati Hobbs ran for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns and Kurt Green threw for 3 touchdown passes as the Golds walloped the Cavs 35-7. Corniell Eelerd, Timm Ebbby, and Fernando Flipper each were the recipients of the touchdowns. The Cavs lone score came on a 47-yard pass from Bill Shumker to Cooper Robinson.

Monday Night KFL Summaries

Sorry for the Delay. Here are the Game Summaries of the two Monday Night Games:



MORTA VULTURES 27, RED BAY SMASHERS 24

In the first game of a Monday Night Doubleheader, Jert Hadmon caught a 46-yard touchdown pass from Union Vlastic in the fourth quarter and ran in a 38-yard touchdown with 0:00 left to win the game for the Vultures. Lyndon Murphy also caught 2 passes for 109 yards, including a 55-yard strike from Vlastic. For the Smashers, Gary Marble caught 4 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns from Mike Donj. David Gillingham also caught a touchdown pass for the Smashers.



HELLERVIL ZAPPERS 26, HELLERVILL BLACK SOX 0

In the first battle for Hellervill of the 2010 campaign the Zappers completely dominated a game that featured 9 turnovers by both sides combined. The Zappers defense recorded three safeties and Ramon Urbana ran in a 12-yard fumble for a touchdown. The Zappers also scored one touchdown on offense when Billy Stevens hit Yuion Horington for a 39-yard touchdown pass. The Zappers defense held the Black Sox to negative yardage in the game.

Saturday's KFL Summaries



CLEVETROIT SILVERS 28, KOSAR CITY RED HAWKS 10

Bart Mitchell ran for 3 touchdowns and the Silvers defense shut out the Red Hawks new quarterback Jason Carroll holding him to 0 yards through the air and three interceptions. The Red Hawks Anggli Mason did run for 97 yards and a score.



MANGEY SONICS 17, TWISTENED ISLAND CITY OWLS 14

Sonics kicker Irne Herald blasted a 57-yard field goal just over the crossbar with 4:44 left in the ball game and the Sonics defense did the rest. Ken Walker ran in a touchdown for the Sonics and Speedy Gadic also found tight end Dell Garlton for a score. For the Owls Ryan Sawyers scored on a touchdown run and Tim Myles hooked up with Reed Wadsworth for a 43-yard strike.



NEW ELANDS TEXICANS 17, MINNYVILLE PURPLES 7

Clifton Burks had 3 catches for 98 yards including a 27-yard touchdown pass from David Sweeny and Lars Jackson ran in a fourth quarter touchdown to seal the victory for the Texicans. Issac Ramone also caught a touchdown pass from John Teverett for the Purples only score.



ST. MCFORD PANTHERS 35, NEW YANKEY AIRPLANES 21

Mikal Ford threw for four touchdowns and also ran for one leading the Panthers over the Airplanes. Michael Hurst and Brett McGee were the recipients of two touchdowns each. For the Planes, Harry Abrams threw touchdown passes to Jordyn McFadden and Zion McCaulley, and Monique Tsion also ran in a score for New Yankey.



PETERSBURG SQUIRRELS 31, WARSH NATIVES 14

Chup Norrie caught two touchdown passes and returned a fumble for a touchdown and John Depatrick threw for three touchdown passes as the Squirrels went "nuts" on the Natives. After a pass was picked off Norrie forced a fumble and returned it 22 yards for the score. For the Natives Bart Moon found Ernest Johnson and Benjamin Baize each for scores.



RAIDER CITY BLACKS 31, PHILLIE BIRDS 17

Howie Porter and Bothie Naters each ran in two touchdowns for the Blacks and amassed a combined 184 yards on the ground leading Raider City over Phillie. Birds quarterback Rich Sheltoin also ran in a touchdown and hooked up with Kelvin Hoover for another.

FRIDAY KFL SUMMARIES



REEDVILLE BOMBERS 35, NEW YANKEY PUMAS 21

The Bombers and Pumas exchanged touchdowns three times, before Ryan Reed ran in a touchdown with 7:46 left in the fourth quarter to put the Bombers up 28-21. A fumble recovery by Reed on defense with 4:00 left all but sealed the game. Reed topped this off with a 73 yard touchdown pass to Rashadd Smart. For the game Reed threw for 3 touchdowns and also ran for 2, gaining 330 yards through the air and 47 on the ground. For the Pumas Andrew Ziots ran for 90 yards and caught a touchdown pass.



DELLES STARS 24, BROWNVILL BONICS 20

Smittin Timmie caught a TD Pass, returned a fumble for a touchdown a special teams, and recovered an onside kick to seal the game for the Stars. Sequel Chiko also returned a fumble for a touchdown for the Bonics.



JOSHVILLE MANIAX 26, COREYVILLE CAVS 13

It was disaster from the start for the Cavs as they fumbled the opening kickoff to the Maniax. Josh Simmons then hooked up with Yerr Corn for 2 first quarter touchdowns. A touchdown run by Power Pig and a safety by Afro Man put the game away for the Maniax. Bill Shumker found Ben Guidone in the endzone for the Cavs only score.



INDIAN CITY HUNTERS 28, HELLERVILL GOLDS 21

In a back and forth game, it was the Hunters that scored last. With 1:43 left in the game Trent Warner found tight end Darryl Spanton in the corner of the endzone for the go ahead score. Warner also hooked up with Dee Boyd and Henry Zoid for touchdowns and J.J. Schroeder also ran in a score for the Hunters earlier in the game. For the Golds Cincinnati Hobbs and Timm Ebbby each scored on the ground and Kurt Green found Cornielle Eelerd for a touchdown strike.



HELLERVILL TIGERS 38, HUII ISLAND HORSES 6
The defending Supreme Bowl Champions continued there dominance against the Horses. Jared Heller Jr. threw three touchdown passes one to Jack Heller and two to Barkley Heller. Barkley also returned the opening second half kickoff for a score and 1988 Bowwow also returned a fumble for a touchdown.

Pirates Storm Past Gasers to win Hall of Fame Game: PIRATES 35, GASERS 17




Although they struggled at times, the Topeburg Pirates flexed there muscle Thursday evening against the Hundsen Gasers defeating them 35-17. Despite only passing for a 35% completion percentage, Josh Tope still threw for three touchdowns and also ran in another. Tope hooked up with former Huii Island Horses wide receiver Herbert McFadden for two long scores and also Massillon Woods for another score. One of the key plays though came in the third quarter with the Pirates leading 14-10. Pirate's running back Santana Brown fumbled the football and center Issac Martin picked it up and ran 53 yards for a score. For the Gasers, Winnie Star passed for 274 yards and a touchdown to Jake Steinwood and Gandalf Saddhand also ran for a touchdown.
